We are a freelance business in Arizona with almost 15’ years experience in graphic design with an emphasis on advertising and conceptual design. At Blitz Graphix, we combine the afford ability of the “in-house” art department with the quality and graphic standards of a high-priced design firm. Our creativity and attention to detail will mean better products for your business or event in today’s competitive markets.
.) Exactly what services do you provide? We provide graphic design services ranging from layouts for clients who already have a design in mind and just need someone to put their vision in place, to the new business owner who needs a new identity package, web site or an advertisement about their product or service along with some assistance in creating effective headline or body copy to help attract new business. We can work with the client’s existing designs or we can create a concept from start to finish. We welcome any design project even if it is not listed on our services page. 2.) If I need artwork the next day, would it be possible to get it sooner than your posted turn-around time? Depending on the service, most of the time we get the projects done earlier than what is stated on our web site. If there is something you need in 24 hours, we will do our best to get it done for you, but keep in mind there may be an additional fee.
.) Can we contact you directly? Yes, definitely. You can either contact us through the Internet or call us at our 800 number listed on the contacts page. We will have an initial phone consultation before we get started and if you have any questions during the design process, please feel free to call any time.
.) Describe your design process? After learning all there is know about your business or event through a questionnaire and phone conversation, depending on what service you are interested in and the complexity of the design, we may need to do a mock-up and e-mail a low-resolution attachment for you to view so we know we are on track with your vision. Following your approval, we will begin to put it all together. Once it is completed, we will send you a finished low-res PDF file for you to view for three rounds of changes and then your final approval. For web site design, it would be a little different because we would be working much more closely with the client and there may be a series of changes to the web site before it is tested and launched. See web site link for more details.
.) Is the design process the same for logo design? For the most part, yes. The difference would depend on whether or not the client has a clear idea of what they wanted or if this would be a logo done from scratch. A client who knows exactly what they want may only need to see one logo design. Someone who is looking for a custom logo will see 3-4 ideas and then can choose one or sometimes it’s a combination of two ideas and then we would re-work the logo. From there, we would allow for three rounds of changes (if needed) until the client approves the design.
.) Does the client own the logo when it’s finished? Yes, you will own 100% of the final artwork
.) What files will I receive after the job is completed? Again, that would depend on the service, but it is usually everything you will need for print and for the Internet. The client can request other files if needed.
.) What is the cost for your services? All services except web design are billed at $65 an hour and the time will depend on the service and the complexity of the design.
.) How do you accept payment? With most design projects, we request a 50% down payment prior to scheduling the work. This is payable by PayPal or a credit card. All details are included in your initial invoice, and the remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the project, prior to supply of original artwork.
.) Do you provide a printing service? We do not provide a printing service. You can choose your own printer or we can help you find an affordable one. After you decide on a printer, we will work closely with them to ensure that the job is printed accurately.
